AHN Saint Vincent Family Medicine Residency program welcomes new faculty member

Edward R. Ellis, DO, has joined the Saint Vincent medical staff as a faculty member for the Saint Vincent Family Medicine Residency program.

Dr. Ellis earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Prior to joining the Saint Vincent medical staff, he was in practice at UPMC Valley Family Medicine. He also served in the United States Navy in Operation Iraqi Freed and Operation Enduring Freedom, during which he earned the Iraqi Campaign Medal.

He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians.  He is affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.

The Saint Vincent Family Medicine Residency program provides clinical experience in all aspects of family medicine.
