Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Certification (QOPI)

QOPI evaluates performance against standards established by oncology experts.

AHN Cancer Institute's participation in the QOPI Certification Program not only sets the benchmark against other top-performing practices, but also supports and strengthens the effectiveness of our ongoing oncology journey.

The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)

An accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) means assurance of the highest standards of care for patients with diseases of the breast.  Administered by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the NAPBC works to acknowledge those institutes with the most efficient and up-to-date scientific approaches to breast cancer oncology. Allegheny General Hospital and Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion have earned this accreditation.

American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC)

The CoC’s Integrated Network Cancer Program (INCP) classification means that patients can expect coordinated quality of care, across doctors and facilities, within a health care network.

INCP status supports AHN Cancer Institute’s dedication to Expedited Care, which focuses on fast responses to cancer diagnosis and also attempts to save you time by having you meet all of your oncology team all at once, in one place.

American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC)

The NAPRC accreditation means that the programs at AGH and Forbes are at the forefront of multidisciplinary rectal cancer care, following rigorous standards and best practices.

AHN Cancer Institute Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy at West Penn Hospital is FACT-accredited, demonstrating a patient-centered approach to cancer care. Our highly experienced blood cancer experts proudly uphold FACT’s rigorous quality standards.
