AHN has received more than $4,000,000 in monetary and in-kind donations during the pandemic, helping us show up for those who need us most.
Thanks to the generous support of The Heinz Endowments, Henry L. Hillman Foundation, and other donors, we are able to increase access to Coronavirus testing with our mobile testing units. Underserved communities in the Western Pennsylvania and Erie areas are now able to get tested close to home.
Even though our annual AHN Golf Classic and 2020 Gala have been postponed, our individual and corporate sponsors still showed up in a big way by shifting their support to our COVID-19 efforts. We are incredibly grateful for the substantial gifts that help us show up for those who need us most. We look forward to teeing off and toasting in person next year.
Thanks to organizations like DICK’s Sporting Goods, Masks of Love, Massaro Construction Group, and hundreds of individual donors, we’re able to protect ourselves and our patients.
With meals delivered from local restaurants, Frontline Foods, Off Their Plate, Erie Insurance, Federated Hermes, and so many more made sure we didn’t have to worry about filling up.
Thanks to Sarris Candies, Eat’n Park, and all other donors who brought smiles to our faces by donating care packages, snacks, treats, gift cards, phone chargers, and more.
Bruce and Barbara Wiegand showed up for health care workers at AHN Jefferson Hospital, where their daughter, Dr. Laura Wiegand, is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, by donating $100,000 for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Their donation helped countless health care workers safely suit up and mask up.
We’re grateful for Pittsburgh native Amy Novak, who rallied her friends, family, and colleagues at Google to donate to her crowdfund. She raised over $25,000 to purchase meals from local restaurants and catering companies for AHN health care workers on the front lines in Erie and Western PA.
Every single donation is making a difference during the Coronavirus pandemic, which is why we want to thank every single one of you.
We have several ways you can show up for our health care teams, patients, and community.
Donate to help fund the immediate needs of Allegheny Health Network, our caregivers, and patients.
