Prerequisites for the OMFS Residency Program are as follows:
- Candidate must have dental degree from a United States and/or Canadian dental school.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
- Foreign graduate must have spent at least his or her third and fourth years of dental school in the United States and/or Canadian ADA-accredited school or currently have a Pennsylvania dental license (State Board of Dentistry, 33.102, Pennsylvania Code).
- Candidate must have successfully completed National Board Exam Part I as well as the NBME CBSE before applying. Subsequently, the candidate must pass the National Board Exam Part II.
