Diagnostic testing and procedures at Peters Township

Our location provides a full range of on-site diagnostic tests and procedures:

Computed tomography (CT) scans

Using a combination of X-rays and a computer, CT scans create pictures of your organs, bones, and other tissues. These images help physicians see inside your body, showing more detail than regular X-rays.

Office hours:
Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. - Noon

Colonoscopies

In a colonoscopy, physicians use a small camera on a long, flexible tube to see inside your rectum and colon.

Office hours: Call for appointment.

Upper endoscopies

Using a small camera, physicians look inside your upper digestive tract — the esophagus, stomach, and first part of the small intestine.

Office hours: Call for appointment.

Laboratory services

Our lab offers a full range of services, including certain blood tests, urinalysis, tests on tissue specimens, and some screening tests.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

Using radio waves and strong magnetic fields, MRIs create detailed images of the organs and tissues in your body. In addition to standard MRI, we offer wide-bore MRI, which provides more room and comfort for patients.

Office hours:
Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. - Noon

Ultrasounds

An ultrasound scan uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of the organs and structures inside your body.

Prenatal ultrasounds

Using high-frequency sound waves, a prenatal ultrasound safely creates images of the baby inside a mother’s body.

Positron emission technology (PET) scans

A PET scan allows your physician to check for diseases, using a special dye that traces various functions inside your body’s cells.

Office hours: Call for appointment.

Vascular ultrasounds and testing

Physicians use vascular ultrasounds to examine the circulation in your blood vessels and identify any blockages. These tests can evaluate arteries or veins in your neck, abdomen, arms, legs, and other parts of your body.

Office hours:
Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. - Noon

In radiation oncology, physicians use controlled doses of radiation to cure or reduce the growth of cancer.
