Emergency Department / Operating Rooms investment at Saint Vincent
The new 104,000-square-foot structure on Saint Vincent’s campus will house a new emergency department and state-of-the-art operating suites. The new facility will extend from the Hardner Building at 2315 Myrtle Street to the north side of the hospital. The project part of AHN’s and Highmark Health’s $115 million Erie investment.
AHN Women and Infants Center at Saint Vincent
Located on the hospital’s fifth floor, the new Women and Infants Center will house labor and delivery, postpartum, gynecologic, breast, infant and neonatal intensive care services. The $9.5 million renovation will provide women and families with a beautiful care setting in state-of-the-art facility.
Jefferson Hospital: emergency department expansion
The $21 million emergency department expansion and renovation project at Jefferson Hospital will increase the ED’s number of treatment and observation beds from 37 to 49. Jefferson is home to one of the busiest emergency departments in southwestern Pennsylvania and sees more than 50,000 patients a year.
Forbes Hospital: perioperative center expansion
The $16 million, 50,000-square-foot perioperative center is adjacent to Forbes Hospital’s surgery center patient entrance, and will offer expanded access to a range of advanced clinical programs and services. The new facility will create new capacity for the hospital’s cardiac procedure unit, and will include a new, state-of-the-art electrophysiology lab for the treatment of heart rhythm disorders.
